Parque Ecológico La Flora

Parque Ecológico La Flora is an elongated park located on the outskirts of Bucaramanga, in the southeastern sector of the old bed of the stream Flora. The area is surrounded by two main routes: 56th Avenue and the old road to Floridablanca. The park is about 10.5 hectares.

Many trees have Spanish moss, this one had a lot.

As I entered the park I had the opportunity to come across some birds and butterflies feeding on bananas.

This is a Gray Cracker butterfly.

This one is a Colobura dirce butterfly.

The Prothonotary Warbler (Protonotaria citrea)

 

Bucaramanga has many parks but perhaps this the nicest one.
